Short Biography

• Graduated second in class from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 2008, receiving the title of Medical Doctor.
   
• Completed residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine between 2008–2013.
   
• In 2013, ranked first in Turkey in the national subspecialty examination for Obstetrics and Gynecology and began training in Gynecologic Oncology Surgery at Hacettepe University, earning the title of Gynecologic Oncology Surgeon in 2017.
   
• During subspecialty training, received advanced education at Kliniken Essen-Mitte, Germany, in cytoreductive surgery for ovarian cancer and laparoscopic surgery for gynecologic cancers.
   
• Received anatomy training on fresh cadavers in abdominal and pelvic anatomy at Graz University, Austria, performing all gynecologic cancer surgeries together with leading European professors.
   
• Attended the ESSO (European Society of Surgical Oncology) course on Cytoreductive Surgery and HIPEC (Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy) for Peritoneal Surface Malignancies in Hamburg, Germany, trained by world-renowned surgeon Dr. Paul H. Sugarbaker, and obtained an official HIPEC Certificate.
   
• Holds the European Gynaecological Oncologist Diploma and European Accreditation awarded by the European Society of Gynaecological Oncology (ESGO).
   
• Reported and documented hundreds of gynecologic cancer surgeries with detailed pathology and operative reports to ESGO, receiving official European accreditation.
   
• Specializes particularly in myomectomy surgeries, uterus-preserving myomectomy, and minimally invasive (laparoscopic) myoma surgery.
   
• Has performed and managed thousands of cases of endometriosis, deep infiltrating endometriosis, and intestinal endometriosis, helping numerous women return to pain-free lives.
   
• Served on the Emergency Obstetric Hemorrhage Response Team formed by the Turkish Ministry of Health’s Department of Women and Reproductive Health.
   
• Worked as an instructor in Advanced Surgical Management of Emergency Obstetric Hemorrhage training programs.
   
• Took part in the delivery and management of many cases with placenta previa and placenta accreta.
   
• Earned the academic title of Associate Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2019.
   
• Completed the mandatory public service between 2017–2019 as a Gynecologic Oncology Surgeon at Etlik Zübeyde Hanım Women’s Health Training and Research Hospital, Ankara.
   
• Authored and co-authored numerous national and international articles, book chapters, and scientific presentations in his field.
   
• Developed a new laparoscopic surgical technique for cervical cancer, which was published in one of the world’s leading gynecologic laparoscopy journals.
   
• Received the title of Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology in December 2024, following his extensive scientific contributions.
